Can I make money online? That seems to be the question of the day and the state of today’s economy appears
to have more and more people asking this very question. Corporate cut backs, offline businesses closing down or downsizing,
recent college graduates finding it difficult to find a job, from teenagers to baby boomers, new streams of income are being sought.
I guess one upside to a down economy is the rise in the number of people starting their own business. Making a living has come
a long way, from working for the man to being the man, or woman, or teenager for that matter. Thanks to the internet the playing
field has been leveled for anyone looking to move onward and upward by becoming their own boss.
So, Can you make money online? Yes, you can. People are doing it everyday.
Is it easy? Welllll, yes and no. It’s certainly easy in terms of technology, thanks to free and open platforms available to all who seek them,
you can blog, write articles, create videos, become an affiliate, curate information, socialize this and that, and various and a sundry other ways to make money online.
But….
The hard part comes when you try to decide what to focus on, what topics to write about or make videos on, what products will you promote,
how to share what you know and love with the world. One reason it can be so hard is the over abundance of information blowing our way at warp
speed, how does one know who to trust and who to run away from?
Not to mention all the so called Guru’s who have dedicated themselves to selling us the next big push button, one click wonder of wonders, get it
while it lasts before they are forced to take it down, fire your boss, and create your own destiny for only $7, $27, $47, or $97, did I mention you
better hurry because the offer could disappear at any moment.
Yes, it can be done and it can be easy. However, it all still takes effort and work, and unfortunately that’s where many give up and quit
before they ever even get started.
So do a little research, find an area of interest and focus on it until you have at least semi mastered it and then begin incorporating
other opportunities that will compliment what you have started. Before you know it, someone will ask you, Can I make money online?,
and you’ll be able to say, yes, and even help point them in the right direction.
