FEEDNAMER – Easy Traffic from Domain Names

Want an easy advantage for getting traffic from the search engines?
Get a domain name that includes the keywords you want to get
traffic for.

For example, a site with a domain name “FindJobSeattle.com” has a
good chance of ranking when someone searches for “find a job in
Seattle.”

Makes sense right?

Well Google’s VP of engineering says that every month, 20-25% of
searches typed in Google are brand new queries that they’ve never
seen before. That means that each month there are new trends and
opportunities to snatch up domain names with those new keywords in
it and sell them while the keyword trend is still hot.

Or you can grab a hot keyword rich domain related to your existing
site, and point all the traffic to your existing site to easily
increase your traffic.

The problem is, coming up with these new keywords used to be a
guessing game. But now there is a software that does it for you.

You’ve gotta see this – check out the video showing how it works: FeedNamer Video

WAHMS – Get Top Tips from Expert Work at Home Moms

Site Build It! It’s our first “live” WAHM Q&A to be held on April 28th at 10AM ET. The goal is to get moms talking about e-business and in particular, the benefits of being a Work At Home Mom. With Mother’s Day (in many parts of the world) fast approaching, the timing is perfect.

How Will This Work?
Anyone can go to the SSFB Wall and post a question by commenting on the announcement there… ASK IT

A highly qualified team of real-life WAHMs will be on hand to answer ALL of your questions.

This expert WAHM team will share how they nurture/grow a family and a business each day, with some days being more successful than others!  ;-)  Ask them the how/what/where/when/why questions about owning and managing a successful e-business from home. For example, are you wondering…

o   Why is an e-business the ideal solution for Work-At-Home-Moms?

o   How can I overcome my partner’s/spouse’s skepticism?

o   What tips do you have for balancing family and business needs?

o   Where do you set up your home office? When do you work?

o   What if I don’t have anything to sell?  How will I make money?

No question is too small or too silly.   :-)

The SSFB Team will post announcements / reminders about the upcoming event.

Simply ask your question by commenting on the announcements or posting to our Wall. Mark your question with “WAHM Live Q&A,” so that we know it’s for this event.

The team collects ALL questions and posts them in the “Notes” section of SiteSell Facebook. We do this because the Wall scrolls posts down and out-of-sight pretty quickly. Reposting them to “Notes” keeps them all in one place.

This way, you can easily see if your question has been asked by someone else already. Or scanning the questions might trigger an “Aha” moment, when a question pops into your head that you wouldn’t have thought of otherwise.

On the day of the LIVE session, our WAHM guest experts and two members from the SSFB team (who are WAHMs as well, by the way) will be present for one hour.

We’ll be re-posting and answering all questions collected between now and the live event.

But the real excitement starts when you ask us questions DURING the live event, for two reasons…

1) You can interact with any of the guest experts by asking a follow-up question to your answer, and

2)  You have the chance of winning one of four fantastic prizes that will be awarded during the one hour Live Q&A…

Some of the expert WAHMS who will be on hand to answer your questions are:

Whether YOU are a mom or not, we encourage you to attend the live event too! You’ll gain valuable insights into what moms are up against (or think they are up against) when it comes to starting an online business. Then you’ll be able to take what you learn and address each point in any mom-related promotions you do.

NO question will go unanswered. So, start posting right away! Oh, and by the way, the Q&A isn’t exclusively for WAHMSWork-at-Home-Dads are welcome too, as is anyone interested in working from home.

Mark this special event on you calendar…

Thursday, 28th of April 2011, at 10 AM (ET).

Benefits of Incorporating a Company

It’s great that you desire to start a company, but what you choose to do after which will aid or hinder the definite victory of your business. We aren’t speaking with reference to the monetary aspects or how you decide to operate your business, rather have you looked at leading the business a bit more and incorporating yourself? If one hasn’t, then one must keep perusing this paper because we will be listing the benefits of making a company a corporation. One can even incorporate a company online which works really well for proprietors not wanting to use up a lot of cash on forming a corporation.

The advantages made available to the business owner after business incorporation are actually rather numerous, therefore I am going to go ahead and list a couple for you. The initial, and often one of high importance, would be asset protection which allows you, as the company owner, to hold on to a person’s individual finances apart from your business’s.

Additional credibility will be a vital issue for businesses as it provides the advantage of additional institutions viewing your business with additional admiration. An additional benefit which is really very helpful is name protection. This shall stop any other businesses, whether new or old, from utilizing your same company name.

Perpetual survival also tends to be an advantage of deciding to incorporate since it says that if/when your company is sold in whatever form that it won’t cause your company to cease operation. Tax benefits would be an issue for companies also and being an incorporated company your income tax options at the time of filing become larger and more varied.

The last benefit we will cover is deductible operating costs which says that you may subtract employee wages and company operating costs prior to being given your own salary.

Based on just this data, a company proprietor should possess the capacity to see why it might be suggested to start a corporation on the Internet which one happens to own. It is very reasonably priced, as well as simple, means to incorporate a business.

Humor on the Financial Crisis

British actor Reg Varney using the world's fir...
Image via Wikipedia

Happened upon this article and thought we all could use a little humor considering our current state of affairs. It’s been said that laughter is the best medicine and heaven knows financially speaking a lot of folks are getting sicker everyday. So please take a moment away from your stress and worries and have a laugh on me.

Almost everyday, we hear news about how bad the financial crisis is.  If you have money in any type of investment accounts (IRA, Roth IRA, Stocks, etc) most likely you have lost a good deal of money.  So instead of writing how much we have suffered due to the financial crisis, I went online and look for some humor related to the financial crisis.  Heres what I found:

Below is some black humor, courtesy of South China Morning Post:

Q: What is the definition of optimism?

A: An investment banker ironing five shirts on a Sunday evening.

Q: Why are all MBAs going back to school?

A: To ask for their money back.

I went to the ATM this morning and it said, “Insufficient Funds”.

I’m wondering: Is it them or is it me?

Here is some dark humor making its way around the email.   You might have some of it in your inbox:

BULL MARKET — random market movement causing an investor to mistake himself for a financial genius.

BEAR MARKET — 6 to 18 month period when the kids get no allowance, the wife gets no jewelry, and the husband gets no sex.

VALUE INVESTING — The art of buying low and selling lower.

P/E RATIO — The percentage of investors wetting their pants as the market keeps crashing.

BROKER — What my broker has made me.

STANDARD & POOR — Your life in a nutshell.

STOCK ANALYST — Idiot who just downgraded your stock.

STOCK SPLIT — When your ex-wife and her lawyer split your assets equally between themselves.

FINANCIAL PLANNER — A guy whose phone has been disconnected.

MARKET CORRECTION — The day after you buy stocks.

CASH FLOW — The movement your money makes as it disappears down the toilet.

YAHOO — What you yell after selling it to some poor sucker for $240 per share.

WINDOWS — What you jump out of when you’re the sucker who bought Yahoo @ $240 per share.

INSTITUTIONAL INVESTOR — Past year investor who’s now locked up in a outhouse.

PROFIT — An archaic word no longer in use.
